Preview an Open Graph share card
For privacy, the image URL is shown only in this local card and is never loaded or requested.
What is an Open Graph preview?
Open Graph metadata supplies a title, description, URL and image when social platforms share a page. This tool arranges those four values as a local share card and generates safely escaped meta tags, helping you check that message and links agree before publishing.
Privacy and tag handling
The tool validates only http or https URLs and never loads the image URL, so it does not make a request to the image host. Generated og:title, og:description, og:url and og:image tags HTML-escape attribute characters safely.
Share-card example
Enter a campaign title, landing-page URL, partnership description and card.jpg image URL. Review the text a social visitor would see, then copy the four Open Graph tags into the page head.
How to use
- Enter a share title, complete URL, description and image URL.
- Update the local card and review its message hierarchy and link.
- Copy the Open Graph meta tags for your site template or developer.
Frequently asked questions
Does the tool download the image or check its dimensions?
No. To avoid sending your image URL to a third party, it shows the URL as text in a local card only. Check the actual asset through your platform or site workflow.
Can I paste the generated tags directly into HTML?
They are a useful base for meta tags in the document head. Integrate them with your template and existing SEO setup so one property is not emitted twice.
Why are all fields required?
The four values make a reviewable share card and complete tag set. Missing an image or URL makes publishing outcomes less predictable.
